The Sundae Situation lineup: Vanilla, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream, and Pistachio pints stacked together

The lineup

Six ways to not skip dessert.

The situation

  • Cardboard bread
  • Chalky shakes
  • Diet desserts
“We got tired of choosing between tasting good and feeling good.”

So we spent two years failing deliciously in the test kitchen — swapping fillers for real cream, chalky isolate for whey that actually tastes like something — until “high protein” stopped being an apology and started being the whole point.

The craft

What's actually in it.

  • 01Grass-fed cream
  • 02Whey protein isolate — the kind that doesn't taste like chalk
  • 03Reduced natural sugars
  • 04Real vanilla, real cocoa, real fruit
  • 05Nothing you'd need a dictionary for

The engineering behind it

It's not a recipe. It's Formula26.

Most "healthy" ice cream fights itself — the protein throws off the freeze, so it comes out icy, gritty, or soft. After 25 failed batches, we solved it — not with a shortcut, but with three deliberate, unglamorous stages most manufacturers skip because they're slower and harder to get right. That process is Formula26, and it's the reason this doesn't taste like protein ice cream.

01 — Freezing Point Control

Calculated, not guessed

Sugar is dosed to a precise ratio that controls exactly how the base freezes — so it's never rock-hard, never a soft melt. Just scoopable, straight from the freezer.

02 — Cold-Phase Binding

Never a hot base

Protein is folded in only once the mix has cooled — never added hot. Heat is what turns protein gritty. Ours never gets the chance.

03 — The 26-Hour Rest

No shortcuts

Every batch rests a full 26 hours before it's ever allowed to freeze — enough time for everything to hydrate and bind properly. Patience, engineered in.

Early word

The blind taste test

Bet us it tastes “healthy.” We'll bet you it doesn't.

Put it up against your favorite ice cream — no cheating, no reading the label first. If you can pick out which tub is the "healthy" one, we've failed at the one thing we set out to do. We're not asking you to trust the claim. We're asking you to taste it for yourself.
